About the Inside Sales Respresentative
The demand for our services is great and we are looking for a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join us and help drive new growth of our HCM and payroll solutions. The successful candidate will primarily be focused on selling solutions into the small and mid sized employer market ( < 25 Employees) The successful candidate will possess initiative, drive, ambition, and a willingness to learn. The goal of the Inside Sales Representative is to make appointments, sales, and to qualify potential business candidates by outbound calling to specified lead lists.
Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
Reach & exceed assigned sales goals for full-suite of HCM solutions including HR, Time & Labor Management, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Affordable Care Act administration, WOTC, Application Tracking, and other AAP solutions.
Drive sales prospecting activities to uncover new businesses to grow pipeline
Qualify outbound leads via phone, building rapport to ?sell the meeting? or create opportunities
Initiate sales by scheduling appointments, preparing presentations, understanding account requirements
Represent AAP at trade shows, seminars, and networking events.
Utilize, contribute and improve functionality of Sales CRM
Expand sales in existing clients by educating on best practices and introducing new products and services
Increase knowledge by participating in meetings, educational seminars and self-motivated research on topics to clarify subject matters
Ensure accuracy of price points, promotional offers, and required client documentation.
Assist in customer service issues and complaint resolution. Manage the new client onboarding experience.
Maintain the client relationship.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
0-2 years inside sales/sales development experience, B2B SaaS space is a plus
Ability to take initiative, work independently and prioritize effectively while balancing multiple work streams
Articulate written and verbal communication skills, with keen ability to maintain direction of discussion
Brings a strong work ethic and thinks creatively to get the job done
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Self starter with strong organizational skills and ability to think strategically about personal impact on long term business strategy
Effective communicator with strong business acumen
Ability to use personal computer and software applications. (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc. )
Comfortable working in a quota driven environment
Ability to work with others to resolve problems, handle requests or situations
Demonstrates ability to perform sales and demonstration presentations
