About the Job
We are seeking a full-time accountant to join our current accounting team to be an integral part in data entry, preparation, and accurate filing of accounting records.
Job Summary
The primary duties of the accountant include, but are not limited to:
*_Documenting financial transactions by correctly entering account information.**
Maintaining accounting records.
Maintaining financial security by following internal controls.
Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting records for the purpose of giving advice and/or preparing financial statements.
Serving as a back-up for other duties related to accounts receivable, purchasing, receiving and shipping functions.
Assisting with annual year-end audit.
Performing other related duties as delegated by upper management._*
Other Related Tasks
*_Preparing monthly financial statements including preparation of monthly balance sheets, income statements, and reporting on changes in financial position/budget variances.**
Reviewing on-line bank accounts and preparing daily bank reports.
Assisting with yearly budget preparation._*
Job Qualifications
*_Minimum: Bachelor Degree in Accounting.**
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, QuickBooks, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, including the ability to formulate questions to help further learning of job duties.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments accurately with minimum instructions._*
