Our cutting edge software solutions enable the connectivity of diverse automotive bus-systems such as CAN, MOST, FlexRay, and Ethernet. Our software solutions are in use by major automotive manufacturers such as Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, and automotive suppliers such as Bosch, Panasonic and Continental. In addition to our connectivity solutions, we also produce PC-tools for laboratory simulation and pre-series testing for configuration, control, and test-solutions.
For our office in Dublin, OH, we?re seeking a Software Test Engineer who will work closely with Software Developers to create test cases, test tools and test environments from customer specifications with an emphasis on automation. Primary responsibility will be system integration and test with a focus on test creation and execution. Automotive experience required.
Position Duties:
Conception and planning of system test to support CETITEC software products and customer projects
Support preparation of plans, procedures, and test cases
Defects analysis and triage
Participate in architecture, requirement, code, and test case reviews internally as well as with the customer throughout the entirety of the project. Includes occasional on-site support locally (within US)
Support software development team to resolve any identified deviations
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience work with integration or test
Experience with Integration and/or Test of systems, creating test scripts and conducting performance analysis
Sound knowledge of software development with the ability to write, debug, and test in C# or
Knowledge of a software development life cycle
Willingness and drive to understand and learn in detail software solutions for the automotive industry
Preferred Requirements
Analytical skills
Proactive and able to work independently
Knowledge of developing test cases for connectivity of automotive devices
Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of the English language (written and verbal)
Knowledge of automotive bus-systems such as CAN, MOST, FlexRay, and Ethernet (TCP/IP) is a plus
