Business Operations Manager/Sales Consultant

Green Bay, Wisconsin

Business Operations Manager/Sales Consultant Job Opening in Green Bay, Wisconsin - The primary objective of a Max Nutrition Sales Manager/Consultant is to deliver on the needs of the customer while ensuring outstanding customer service.
At Max Muscle, outstanding customer service is defined as effectively delivering the unique Max Muscle experience that sets us apart from the competition. This includes but is not limited to the following (for each person entering the store or approaching a Max Muscle event venue):
Greet each client individually within 10 seconds of entering store or approaching an event table. This greeting should be warm, welcoming, sincere and include a smile, a handshake (when appropriate and natural), and an introduction (to self, others in immediate vicinity, and to the store in general if first time in). A Sales Consultant is expected to stand up if sitting and come from behind the cash wrap for greeting.
Make a connection by the time the client leaves. This requires a Sales Consultant to quickly establish a rapport with the client, asking open ended questions and truly listening to everything the client says (or does not say?watch body language!), sharing own experiences if appropriate, and laying the foundation for a relationship to be built on trust and empathy.
Educate our customers and our community. We are the ?Authority on Sports Nutrition?. This is our motto and our responsibility. An educated customer gets results, and a customer who gets results is a satisfied one who returns for more! To educate clients, Sales Consultants are expected to know our products; offer a free body composition analysis and product samples to everyone; provide product data sheets for all products discussed, sampled or sold; and use the resources available (internet and reference books) to seek answers for more difficult questions. To educate our community, Sales Consultants will seek to educate potential clients when they are working out in gyms, participating in community events, etc.
Sell solutions. Max Muscle does not merely sell products; we sell solutions. This requires that the Sales Consultant question and understand a client?s specific fitness and wellness goals. If a person comes in asking for whey protein, it is not considered acceptable customer service to simply educate them about our various products then sell them a tub of Max Pro. Sales Consultants are expected to ask sufficient questions to better understand the client?s needs and aspirations and move them to the products and services that best meet those needs regardless of what the client first asked for or what the staff?s favorite product might be. For example, a customer might say they want some lean protein but then talk about training for a marathon and having knees that hurt. This might lead away from a lean protein to one with more carbohydrates and electrolytes and perhaps some Joint Relief and omegas as well.
Close simply. It is the Sales Consultant?s responsibility to ask for the sale but Max Muscle is not a high pressure sales environment. A Sales Consultant is expected to ask for the sale but only after connecting and educating the client. Sales will happen naturally if the client has come to ?own? his/her solution and if the Sales Consultant expresses his/her sincere and informed opinion that the products/services in question will meet the specific needs of the client.
Lead to the future. The Sales Consultant is expected to exceed customer expectations by offering bag-stuffers (magazines, booklets, product information, product samples, etc.), loyalty cards, and receipt coupon stamps. To cement a personal connection, a Sales Consultant should offer his/her (or the store?s) business card and suggest the client call if there are any remaining questions or concerns.
Follow up with first time clients and with those with whom a personal connection was made (e.g. if a client says they are running in a marathon that weekend, send an email asking how s/he performed).
