Dispatcher/Assistant Fleet Manager Job Opening in Fairhope, Alabama - DISPATCHER and ASSISTANT FLEET MANAGER
Lumpkin & Associates has a client in the Gulf Coast Area that is looking for an energetic person who wants to join a growing and dynamic trucking and logistics firm as a truck dispatcher and assistant fleet manager. Must have experience in brokering freight, dispatching loads, managing truck fleets and managing drivers.
Knowledge Requirements :
Customer and Personal Service ? Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Transportation ? Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits
English Language ? Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Administration and Management ? Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Public Safety and Security ? Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions
Clerical ? Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
Law and Government ? Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.

3-5 years Experience as a Dispatcher /Logistics Manager
