Three to five years of experience as a Business Analyst having Technical skills with emphasis or exposure to business intelligence Data Warehouse Big Data projects or initiatives.
- Experience in the Food Services / retail industry is preferred.
1) Extract requirements (from users), organize the requirements (document
it) , translate business requirements (for the Tecnical users for them to
understand) & Manage the requirements (so that updates are documented and communicated to team in timely manner).
- Will require interacting with business users for the requriements gathering and being able to explain the requirements to the Technical team
2) Hands-on Experience with JIRA (log and track user stories, tasks etc.) and Confluence (manage documentations)
- JIRA and Confluence are products of Atlassian Corporation Pty Ltd.
3) Excellent oral and written communcation skills, confident, affable
4) Experience writing SQL queries (nice if experienced on Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server though experience writing SQL on any database is alright)
- Experience on BI tools like Tableau and Microstrategy will be nice to have
5) Test case documentation & execution
Continuously looks for new ways of introducing process improvement in all aspects of the development life cycle. Performance, improved productivity, efficiencies, and optimization are key measurements.
