Sr. WebMethods Lead Developer Job Opening in ORLANDO, Florida - We are staffing a long term contract for an Orlando area client looking for a Sr. WebMethods Lead Developer. All work is onsite but the client will consider out of town candidates that are willing to work on site for the duration of the project. Candidates should have a minimum of 12 years of hands on webMethods development (focusing on EDI Integration) experience
Minimum of 2 to 3 years managing / coordinating large teams
High level job duties:
- Subject matter expert in delivering WM and integration solutions
- Troubleshoot and support ongoing operations
- Report status/risks/issues/ bandwidth availability and measurable deliverables.
- Recommendation to remediate existing challenges and best in class practices that may apply to Disney
- Estimate work effort for new work and provide details to a project plan with ROM and actual work
Role & Responsibilities
Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications.
Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
Participate in user needs to determine technical requirements.
Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.
webMethods /Software AG Developer will assume the role in the development/mapping of system integration capabilities using the webMethods suite of tools version 9.6, including Trading Networks and Integration Server.
The individual primary role will be to support business requests of mapping development, unit testing and code deployment.
Work closely with developers (onshore and offshore), managers, internal business users and customers.
Play the role of onsite coordinator to deliver the work utilizing our offshore team
Must have excellent communication skills and both verbal and written
Must be a self-started, motivated and independent, quick but detailed
Ability to manage and work on multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities
