Director of Clinical Operations - Home Health Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - Abode Home Health is a highly respected healthcare provider with branches throughout Colorado. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of our patients and their families. Due to unprecedented growth, we are expanding our team and looking to hire a new Director of Clinical Operations (DCO) who will be dedicated to providing high quality and compassionate care to our patients.
Job Duties of this rewarding position as a Director of Clinical Operations include:
Direct the delivery of clinical services provided to our patients, ensuring high quality home health services are delivered safely by your team.
Coordinate the Denver programs in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Analyze data and utilization, and provide updates to the Regional Director on a regular basis.
Select, hire, onboard, and develop the team of care providers including RNs, PTs, OTs, SLTs, CNAs, and MSWs. Ensure that the team has the necessary knowledge and education to perform.
Bring the team together for regularly scheduled staff meetings, and participate in quarterly and annual quality assurance meetings.*

Employee Development : All new employees are oriented in the office as well as in the home using a number of training techniques including shadowing, return demonstrations, competency assessments, and hands-on training in patient?s homes. Clinical Supervisors are available for additional assistance by phone, email, in the office or out in the field. On-going training and clinical support make our Home Health employees able to work independently while providing care to a wide range of complex cases.

Valid Colorado Registered Nurse license
A minimum of five (5) years recent clinical experience, two of which in home health
Three (3) years progressively responsible management experience
Strong knowledge of Home Health Regulations and Standards
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and accrediting organizations regulations and standards.
Experienced in using electronic health records; HCHB experience a plus.
